Dinner Restaurant in Bel Air to Open Soon

One Eleven Main is gearing up for dinner crowd.

Bel Air diners looking for beef tartare and other gourmet dishes on Main Street will not have to wait much longer.

Dinner-only restaurant One Eleven Main will be opening in early October, according to manager David Anderson.

The opening date is tentatively slated for Saturday, Oct. 3, Anderson told Patch on Monday. There will be an invite-only soft opening the night before, he added.

The menu will change seasonally, and One Eleven Main will have a full liquor license. Some items on the early autumn menu: pan-seared stone bass with pumpkin seed risotto, curried pumpkin and saffron broth as well as acorn squash stuffed with quinoa, hazelnuts, charred tomato, ricotta, panko and Saba vinegar.

Chef Matt Kane, who helped open B&O Brasserie in Baltimore, is the restaurant’s head chef.

There will be some minor changes to the menu before opening, and the dessert menu is still being finalized, according to Anderson.

The concept is “upscale-casual,” Anderson said.

“The setting will be nice but we don’t want people to feel obligated to dress up,” he explained. “We want people to be able to enjoy the food no matter what they’re wearing.”

The name of the restaurant is tied to the address; the business is at 111 South Main Street in Bel Air. Anderson said he would “strongly suggest” making reservations.” Use OpenTable or call the restaurant at 443-900-8027 to make a reservation.
