Ellen Frances Andon, 66
A woman beloved by many, who started her own greeting card business featuring her Jack Russell terrier, passed away this month.

Ellen Frances Andon passed away on Friday, Sept. 6. She was 66.
She was born Feb. 10, 1953, in Salem, Massachusetts, to Chester (Buddy) and Patricia Morrill, according to her obituary, which said she was the second of four children. She married Stephen Andon in 1973, and they raised five children: daughters Stacey, Elizabeth (Libby) and Emily and sons Stephen and Tim.
"Ellen had a love of art and creative expression," her obituary states. "Not only was the house full of her gorgeous artwork, she shared her love of creating with her children and those around her. She even started her own greeting card business featuring her lovable Jack Russell, Oreo."

She was reportedly a wonderful cook and crafter.
Ellen is survived by her husband, Stephen; her five children; seven grandchildren; and her "greeting-card-famous dog, Oreo," according to her obituary.

Visitation is scheduled for 6–8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, as well as 2–4 and 6–8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, at Schimunek Funeral Home in Bel Air, 610 West Macphail Road.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, at St. Margaret’s Church in Bel Air, 141 Hickory Avenue.
Donations in lieu of flowers may go to the Samaritan’s Purse International Disaster Relief Organization in Ellen’s name.
