Enclave at Box Hill Grand Opening is This Weekend
'Bel Air's Best Blues, Brews and BBQ' event to usher in new development in Abingdon.
The first apartments to open in Abingdon in more than a decade will have a grand opening this weekend, according to property manager Bozzuto.
“Enclave at Box Hill is the first apartment community to open in the area in the past 15 years,” Bozzuto Management President Julie Smith said in a statement. “We are thrilled to bring the values, services and quality for which we are known to Abingdon, which is experiencing tremendous growth.”
The community includes 208 apartments and 32 townhomes for rent as well as a clubhouse with indoor amenities like the 24-hour fitness center with yoga and children’s rooms, fireplaces, pub room with pool table and conference room; plus outdoor offerings including a swimming pool, kitchen with grilling station, fire pit, tot lot and walking trail. It is within walking distance of the Boulevard at Box Hill shopping center.

To celebrate its grand opening, the Enclave at Box Hill welcomes the public to a gathering on Saturday, Nov. 14, complete with music, food and giveaways. The theme is “Bel Air’s Best Blues, Brews and BBQ,” and the event will feature these offerings:
- Blues by Jonny Grave & The Tombstones
- Barbecue from Dickey’s BBQ
- Beer from local breweries DuClaw, Ocean City Brewing Co., Jailbreak Brewing Co. and Heavy Seas Beer
- Wine from Boordy Vineyards
- Face painting
- Giveaways: Ravens tickets, iPad, Y Turkey Trot Charity 5K bib, swag from MaGerk’s Pub and more businesses
The grand opening will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Enclave at Box Hill’s clubhouse, 3405 McCurley Drive, in Abingdon.
