Festival At Bel Air Hosting Halloween Costume Contest
The 31st annual Halloween Costume Contest will draw superheroes and others to The Festival at Bel Air Saturday, rain or shine.

BEL AIR, MD — Costumed characters will go trick-or-treating earlier than usual, as The Festival at Bel Air celebrates Halloween this weekend. The shopping center is hosting a costume contest and trick-or-treat event Saturday. Both are free.
Anyone who wants to participate can show up in the parking lot near Rite Aid in the shopping center parking lot on Bel Air South Parkway.
"This event is now a Harford County tradition, so don't miss it!" Michael Blum, organizer of the event, said in a statement. In fact, this year is the 31st annual affair. Blum said there will be music, cash prizes for best costumes, special costumed superhero guests and more treats in store.

The event is rain or shine. "Last year we had possibly our worst weather ever, so we are hoping for a nice balmy October Saturday this year," Blum said. "But the event is RAIN OR SHINE!"
All adults will receive a special thank-you gift from the Festival, and all kids in costume receive trick-or-treat candy bags.
