HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The state of emergency in Harford County will be lifted July 1, in alignment with the governor's guidance for the rest of the state of Maryland.

"We continue to encourage everyone to be safe and get vaccinated,” County Executive Barry Glassman said in a statement Tuesday, June 15. "But Harford’s metrics have trended down along with the state averages, and we are eager to move beyond the state of emergency to brighter days ahead."

Those with questions about changes to operations may contact the appropriate department.
