Harford Sheriff's Deputy Raises Funds To Purchase Bike For Little Boy
After a little boy shared with a sheriff's deputy that he'd never owned a bike, DFC Elliott raised the funds and gifted him a bike.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD ? A Harford County sheriff's deputy recently met a child during a call for service who shared with the officer that he had never owned a bicycle.
Deputy First Class Dave Elliott saw the child several times playing outside after their first encounter and the little guy was always respectful to him. So DFC Elliott decided to organize an initiative with other deputies to raise the funds to buy the little boy his very own bicycle, a helmet and a gift card.
According to the Harford County Sheriff's Office, it took the team just a few days to raise the money. DFC Elliott personally delivered the bike, helmet and gift card to the boy and his parents.
