2 Injured In Crash, Fire That Shut Down I-95 In Harford: Report
A crash closed I-95 in Harford County north of the exit for MD 543 for hours Monday, according to authorities.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A multi-vehicle crash closed Interstate 95 north in Harford County Monday heading into the afternoon rush hour.
The closure lasted from about 4:20 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., according to state transportation officials.
Three vehicles crashed in the area of I-95 north past the exit for MD 543, near mile marker 81.8, officials reported. Southbound lanes remained open.

The incident was a crash and vehicle fire, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.
A vehicle flipped after running into a car carrier then caught fire, according to WBAL, which reported two children were taken to Johns Hopkins Children's Center.

Drivers were advised to take US 40 or other alternate routes.
