I-95 Vehicle Fire Closes Lanes Near Route 152

A vehicle fire on I-95 south was reported Thursday in Harford County.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A vehicle fire has shut down lanes on Interstate 95 south in the Joppa area Thursday, according to officials.

The two right lanes and right shoulder were closed on I-95 south past the exit for MD 152, officials reported.

Authorities said they were notified of the fire at 4:23 p.m.

After 4:45 p.m., traffic was jammed on I-95 south in the area.

Hours earlier, a crash nearby on I-95 north also prompted lane closures near the Route 152 exit.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 Thursday has snarled northbound traffic in Harford County, according to authorities.

Three vehicles collided on I-95 north past the exit for MD 152/Mountain Road before 10 a.m., officials said.

As of 12:30 p.m., the right lane and right shoulder were closed, according to the Coordinated Highway Action Response Team (CHART).
