Boniface, who was born in Havre de Grace, attended St. Margaret's School and is a 1985 graduate of the John Carroll School, according to her obituary.
She was a champion amateur jockey, successful trainer and devoted owner of her horse Field Cat, according to her obituary, which stated that she also loved her family, beaches, music, mowing and sunrise.

Boniface passed away at her family's property, Bonita Farm in Darlington, The Aegis reported.
The Boniface family suffered a tragedy in 2012 when Benjamin Boniface, 20, died in a pickup truck crash on Bonita Farm in the 3700 block of Harmony Church Road. He was Kim Boniface's nephew.

She is survived by parents John William Boniface Sr. and Joan Warfield Boniface; siblings William Boniface and his wife Barbara, Kevin Boniface and his wife Chris, John William Boniface Jr. and her sister Bonita Boniface; and nieces and nephews Michelle, Billy, Fritz, Sydney and Bethany.
In lieu of flowers, people may make memorial contributions to the Maryland Horse Industry Foundation in honor of Kim Boniface to P.O. Box 427, Timonium, MD 21094.
The Boniface family will hold a private celebration of life. Letters may be sent to Bonita Farm, P.O. Box 366, Darlington, MD 21034. People may leave condolences online on the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home website.
