Lane Closures Planned Along Northbound MD 755 For Construction Project

Drivers should expect lane closures along northbound MD 755 near MD 24 for a construction project designed to widen the roadway.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD ? Starting Sunday, construction crews will start working on a $4.1 million project to widen a quarter-mile section of northbound MD 755 to extend the right-turn lane onto northbound MD 24.

Drivers should expect temporary daytime lane closures in the area of the intersection between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays. Overnight lane closures will be required between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sundays to Thursdays.

The project is part of the Maryland State Highway Administration?s efforts to improve traffic flow at intersections in Baltimore and Harford counties. The work includes replacing curbs and driveways, improving drainage and installing new guardrails. After widening the road, crews will resurface the pavement and add new road and crosswalk markings to make the intersection safer and more efficient.
