Lane Closures Planned For Northbound MD 755 Near Edgewood

EDGEWOOD, MD ? Starting Sunday night, drivers should expect temporary daytime lane closures along northbound MD 755 and MD 24 as crews work to widen a quarter-mile section of northbound MD 755 to extend the right-turn lane onto northbound MD 24.

Weather permitting, the project should wrap up in 2025.

There will be daytime lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays. Overnight lane closures will be needed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays. The work includes replacing curbs and driveways, improving drainage and installing new guardrails. After widening the road, crews will resurface the pavement and add new road and crosswalk markings.
