Looney's announced its decision to postpone the outdoor party without hours of Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan prohibiting gatherings of 250 people to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. Citing "concern with the rapid spread of the coronavirus nationwide," the town of Bel Air also issued a statement Thursday afternoon "asking that you use discretion in deciding whether to attend or not attend any event," on behalf of the Bel Air town commissioners and administrator.

"We will have an event once this crisis is over," Looney's wrote. It is still developing its music schedule for the weekend and will share the lineup on the Looney's Bel Air Facebook page.
