The Double T Diner will be on hiatus starting in early June. The restaurant at the corner of Joppa and Ebenezer roads will close for six months as it moves 200 feet away. The move allows for CVS to take its place in the high-visibility corner. The restaurant will close on Sunday, June 11, for approximately six months. The last seating will be at 4 p.m.
A new family entertainment lineup is getting ready to start up in Perry Hall. Angel Park, the new playground near Perry Hall Library that opened in the past year, will hold the first in a series of family entertainment outings next week. "A Night Of Magic" will feature music inspired by Disney. Baltimore Symphonic Band will perform at the park. "Prince and princess attire is encouraged," according to organizers. The concert is free.

North Point Road Reopens Following Barricade: Police
All roads have reopened near North Point Road and Eastern Boulevard, Baltimore County police reported after 2 p.m. on May 24. Police had closed part of the road while trying to serve a warrant in the area. Authorities said they had searched a home in the 600 block of North Point Road for a 27-year-old wanted man but did not locate him. As of 2:10 p.m., police reported the area had been cleared and roads reopened.
Bank Robbery Suspect IDed As Bel Air Man
A Bel Air man has been charged in a bank robbery in Edgewood that took place Monday morning, police reported Tuesday. Tyree C. Smith, 18, of the 900 block of Hillswood Road, has been charged with armed robbery; first and second-degree assault; theft from $1,000 to under $10,000; and robbery. Authorities allege Smith robbed BB&T at in the 1000 block of Gateway Road in Edgewood at approximately 10:36 a.m.
