Mission BBQ Plans To Open In Bel Air
A barbecue restaurant has signed a lease at the Tollgate Marketplace.
BEL AIR, MD — Mission BBQ has 18 locations in Maryland and is planning to open in Bel Air.
Known for its barbecue fare and patriotism, Mission BBQ offers menu items like pulled pork, spare ribs, brisket, mac and cheese and baked beans.
The restaurant will be in Tollgate Marketplace, the shopping center that also houses Ulta and Barnes & Noble.

HR Retail, which manages Tollgate Marketplace, shows that Mission BBQ is going to be in the space where Pier 1 used to be at the shopping center on US 1 and MD 24. My Eye Dr. will also open between Mission BBQ and Saladworks, while a 2,300-square-foot space between the two remains under negotiation.
"We are always looking for great communities for new restaurants and hope to be in Bel Air one day soon," Mission BBQ Director of Branding and Community Relations Linda Dotterer said in a statement to Patch. She declined to comment on the opening date.
