New Additions Made To Emily Bayless Graham Park

A free library, bench and tree have been installed at the park off Wheel Road.

BEL AIR, MD — A new feature was added to a park in Bel Air, thanks to a group of Realtors.

The Harford County Association of Realtors (HarCAR) installed a library box and bench as well as a tree at Emily Bayless Graham Park on May 24.

Every year the organization asks a local official for suggestions of improvements it could make for it annual Realtor Care Day event.

Harford County Council President Patrick Vincenti assisted in the decision-making.

"The Harford County community is grateful for the selfless work our Realtors are putting into this installation and all of the other work they do year-round to better our community," Vincenti said in a statement. "The library box will enhance our community and promote a love for reading by providing greater access to books."

The library box includes books for both children and adults.

"The last year has been extremely challenging for many businesses and families in our community," HarCAR CEO Kathy McFadden said in a statement provided to Bel Air Patch. "We are thrilled to be able to come together and work on a project that gives back to our community."

The box, bench and tree were installed Monday, May 24, with participation from Realtors, Vincenti and Harford County Parks and Recreation at Emily Bayless Graham Park, 15 W. Wheel Rd., Bel Air, MD 21015.
