Route 543 Paving Project To Cause Lane Closure

HARFORD COUNTY, MD ? A pavement patching project will start this week in the Creswell area, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration.

MD 543 (Riverside Parkway/Creswell Road) will be patched from Interstate 95 to Route 136 (Calvary Road).

Crews will start Sunday, Aug. 7, and work will continue until late November, officials said.

Overnight, single-lane closures will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Friday morning. Flagging will be in place, and drivers should slow down, officials advised.

Allan Myers-MD Inc. of Fallston is performing the paving project, which is estimated at $340,000.
