Harford County Closures: Government Offices, Schools, Clinics
Winter weather has resulted in closures in Harford County Monday, Feb. 1.

BEL AIR, MD — With several inches of snow on the ground in Harford County, multiple closures are in effect, from government offices and school campuses to COVID-19 vaccination clinics.
Bel Air town government offices are closed Monday, Feb. 1, due to inclement weather. Authorities made the announcement before 8 a.m. Employees should report to work based on their departments' regulations, officials said. Critical/essential workers should report, according to town authorities. Scheduled trash pickup will continue as planned.
Harford County government offices and Harford Transit LINK are closed Monday due to weather conditions as well.

MTA Commuter Bus will suspend service on all bus routes on Monday, Feb. 1.
The Harford Community College and TUNE campuses are closed, and no in-person classes will be held on campus Monday, Feb. 1. Remote classes will continue, unless students have been given other guidance from their instructors.

Buildings and technology hubs maintained by Harford County Public Schools will be closed Monday to staff and visitors. Essential personnel will receive further instruction from their supervisors. Staff members who can work virtually should continue to do so, officials said.
Vaccine clinics scheduled for Monday have been moved to Wednesday, according to the Harford County Health Department. Appointments will be held at the same place and for the same time.
The Harford Mall will be closed Monday, Feb. 1. Businesses with exterior entrances may have varying hours, so patrons are encouraged to call ahead.
Harford County Under Winter Storm Warning
In Bel Air, emergency management reported 3.8 inches of snow had fallen before 8 p.m. Sunday, according to preliminary data provided to the National Weather Service.
A winter storm warning is in effect for Harford County until 6 a.m. Tuesday calling for 2 to 4 inches of additional snow and up to 0.1 inch ice. Winds may gust up to 35 mph.
Road conditions may be slippery, and hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

- 3.8 inches in Bel Air
- 3.4 inches in Forest Hill
- 3.1 inches at Aberdeen Proving Ground
- 3 inches in Abingdon
- 2.3 inches in Bel Air
