Tractor-Trailer Flips Over On I-95 In Harford County: Officials
A hazmat crew was called after a tractor-trailer flipped on I-95 past MD 152, and miles of backups ensued.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Officials said a tractor-trailer overturned Saturday on Interstate 95 north in Harford County, causing backups for several hours. The crash happened on I-95 north past the exit for MD 152/Mountain Road, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
Hazardous materials personnel were called to pump diesel fuel from the tanks on the tractor-trailer, the fire company reported.
Transportation officials said the crash happened around 9:45 a.m. The far right lane and right shoulder were closed in the area of mile marker 75.1 for more than three hours.

There was a 3-mile backup on I-95 north in the area by 10:15 a.m., according to the Maryland Transportation Authority, which reported all lanes had reopened around 1 p.m.
