Ways To Celebrate Passover 2021 In Bel Air

BEL AIR, MD —Passover, the major Jewish holiday that marks the Hebrews' deliverance from slavery and return to Israel, begins this week, with opportunities to order Seder To Go kits/meals in Bel Air and celebrate virtually in Havre de Grace.

The Seder is the traditional meal each night of Passover, which begins at sundown Saturday and will end at nightfall on Sunday, April 4. For the second year in a row, many families are turning to technology to help celebrate the dinner together due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Harford Chabad in Bel Air is offering a Seder To Go Kit and/or Meal. The kit includes a Seder plate with food items in individual containers, a Seder plate placemat, Hebrew/English annotated haggadah, shmura matzah, wine and more. The meal features individually wrapped Seder dinners that include: chicken or brisket, chicken soup, garlic mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. Items can be picked up on Friday.

Harford Chabad also will be hosting an in-person, socially distanced Seder, but guests had to RSVP by March. 19.

In Havre de Grace, Temple Adas Shalom will host a 1st Night Pesach Community Seder on Zoom at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
