6th Annual Cardiovascular Health Seminar
When: Monday, 5 p.m.
Where: Upper Chesapeake Medical Center
Details: Attend this special evening and receive free cardiopulmonary and cardiovascular screenings as well as expert information on sports cardiology.
Cancer Bites
When: Friday, 8 p.m.
Where: Richlin Ballroom in Edgewood
Details: Attend a Halloween themed bull-roast to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Havre de Haunts
When: Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m.
Where: Concord Point Coffee, 217 N. Washington Street in Havre de Grace
Details: Experience ghostly-guided walking tours.
STEM Open House at The John Carroll School
When: Saturday, 9 a.m.
Where: John Carroll School
Details: Students will have the chance to complete exciting projects and learn about the STEM Academy.
Prescription Drug Take Back Day
When: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: The parking lot of the Harford County Administrative Office Building at 220 South Main St. in Bel Air (and other places).
Details: No questions will be asked when medications are turned in on Oct. 26.
25th Annual Free Halloween Costume Parade, Contest & Trick-or-Treat
When: Saturday, 11 a.m.
Where: Festival at Bel Air
Details: All kids who dress up and march in the parade get candy and trick-or-treat bags.
‘Paint the Town Pink’
When: All Week
Where: Participating Bel Air businesses
Details: The Town of Bel Air is working to “Paint the Town Pink” in an effort to raise cancer awareness.
