BEL AIR, MD — Memorial Day in Bel Air will be marked with a ceremony and for many, a day off. The event is a federal holiday.
The Bel Air 2021 Memorial Day ceremony will be from 10:45 a.m. to noon on Monday, May 31, at Shamrock Park, 39 N. Hickory Ave., Bel Air, MD 21014.
Many local facilities and government offices will close on Memorial Day in remembrance of the men and women who served and gave their lives for the United States.

Here’s a look at what’s open and closed in Bel Air on Memorial Day:
- Closed/Canceled
- Town of Bel Air Offices will be closed Monday, May 31.
- Trash, leaf and yard waste collection Monday have been canceled. Those whose trash day is Monday will have their trash picked up Wednesday, June 2.
- Town residents whose trash day is Tuesday will have their materials picked up at the regular time.
- Bulk trash pickup is canceled Wednesday, June 2.
