What's Open And Closed In Bel Air For Presidents Day 2021

BEL AIR, MD — Government buildings, libraries and post offices will be closed and public transit service will be scaled back Monday, Feb. 15, for Presidents Day. The holiday celebrating the birth of President George Washington is always held the third Monday in February.

Town of Bel Air offices will be closed Monday.

Trash that was to be picked up Monday in the town of Bel Air will instead be collected Wednesday. There will be no leaf or yard waste collection on Presidents Day. There will be no bulk trash pickup this week. Call the Department of Public Works with questions at 410-638-4536.

Harford County Public Schools and offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 15. Virtual learning will be canceled Monday for the holiday.

Harford County government offices are closed Monday, Feb. 15, in observance of the holiday.

All Harford County Public Library locations will be closed on Monday, Feb. 15, in observance of Presidents Day. Digital library materials and previously recorded virtual programs are still available 24/7 by visiting HCPLonline.org.

Harford Transit LINK will be closed Monday.

Harford Community College will be open Monday.

Harford Mall will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.

MDOT MTA’s Local Bus, Metro SubwayLink, and Light RailLink will operate on a regular weekday schedule Monday, Feb. 15. The MARC Train will operate on the R schedule for the Penn, Camden and Brunswick Lines service with a few modifications. The commuter bus will not be in service except for Commuter Bus 201, which will operate on a weekend/holiday schedule.
