Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Harford County

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Harford County is under a winter weather advisory Monday due to snow. About 1 to 3 inches may accumulate, according to the National Weather Service.

The winter weather advisory is in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22.

Snow will overspread the region from 7 to 9 a.m., and visibility may be reduced below 0.5 mile.

Drivers should anticipate slippery road conditions that may impact the morning commute.

People should watch their first few steps on stairs, sidewalks and driveways, which may be icy and slippery.

Snow may mix with freezing rain before temperatures climb above freezing toward the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

The winter weather advisory applies to Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery and Washington counties.
