Wood Pole Impales Windshield, Traps Person Inside: Official
A person had to be extricated from a pickup after the vehicle hit a wood pole that impaled the windshield and trapped the individual inside.

EDGEWOOD, MD ? A person in a pickup became trapped when the vehicle crashed into a wood pole along Willoughby Beach Road that snapped and impaled the windshield.
The incident happened June 8 shortly before 7 p.m. near Bauers Drive. Part of the vehicle's roof had to be removed in order to free the trapped individual, according to the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
Volunteer firefighters from the Abingdon Fire Company, Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, Aberdeen Proving Ground Fire and Emergency Services, and Harford County Department of Emergency Services EMS arrived to help with the emergency call.
