$50K Lottery Ticket Sold By Bethesda Store To Two-Time Winner

A 54-year-old home services contractor won the lottery not once, but twice. The latest winning ticket was purchased in Bethesda.

BETHESDA, MD — A Maryland man who won $50,000 in a lottery game in 2019 has struck gold again — this time in Bethesda.

The anonymous player from Prince George's County purchased the winning Bonus Match 5 ticket at Westlake Wine & Beer on Autopark Avenue. His latest $50,000 win was similar to his November 2019 win. Both times, the 54-year-old home services contractor was in a rush to pick up his tickets, Maryland lottery officials said in a press release.

In 2019, the winner used his prize to pay a few bills and put a down payment on a new truck. The rest was put into a savings account, lottery officials said.
