BETHESDA, MD — Dog owners know their furry, four-legged friends need space — and a lot of it. Particularly space where they can frolick off leash. Run. Bark. Wrestle. Chase. You know, dog things.
Lucky for you, Montgomery County is home to many awesome dog parks. We've rounded them up, so you can spend less time looking for the perfect spot, and more time playing with your pup.
But before you head out, make sure you're familiar with Montgomery Parks' rules and regulations.

Cabin John Regional Park
If you haven't been to Cabin John Regional Park's dog park, I highly recommend you check it out.
The half-acre, off-leash dog park is divided in two: one half is for smaller dogs and the other is for larger dogs. Both enclosures offer benches, shade, poop bags, and hydration stations.
