Adoptable Bethesda Pet: Ellie Needs A Forever Home

Meet Ellie the pup — a lovable Terrier mix who does a happy dance when people greet her.

BETHESDA, MD — If you're thinking about adopting a furry friend, consider a local non-profit like Best Dawg Rescue in Bethesda. The rescue group focuses on providing at-risk dogs in local shelters a forever home.

Best Dawg Rescue saves injured, ill, neglected, starved and unwanted pups in the community and often restores their health until they are ready for adoption. Some dogs need medical care or TLC to bring out their personalities, but others are ready to adopt, like Ellie.

Ellie is a black and white Terrier mix who is five years old. She weighs eight pounds.

Please ask about Ellie to find out when he will be at an upcoming adoption show. Best DawgRescue’s weekly Saturday adoption shows are posted on their website here. Note that “DAWG” places dogs in the metropolitan D.C. area and that pre-applications ensure dogs will be at adoption shows applicants can attend.

For more information on Ellie, or any of the other wonderful DAWG dogs, please submit an online application. There is no obligation. Once your application is received, a DAWG volunteer will contact you.
