The Art of Watercolor Painting

Artist Anni Albers hit it right on the mark with this quote. If you are looking for a different soul searching deep within happiness, look no further than art. art will get you there perhaps even sooner than you imagine. To get there, to that warm place of happiness all humans ache to be in, you have to take steps, sometimes even calculated steps. The first step the leads you to that creative happiness is taking an art class, especially with a professional.

Acclaimed artist and "notable alumni" of Corcoran George Washington University grad Vian Borchert who has been doing art for decades and teaching as well in the DMV area and beyond will be teaching a watercolor painting and a drawing art class at the Yellow Barn Studio in Glen Echo Park. The Drawing class starts this Friday morning April 30 from 9:30 AM-1 2 PM. Here are the online registration links and further details of the classes.

Moreover, due to demand, extra spots have been added to the Watercolor painting class which starts Monday morning at the Yellow Barn Studio.

In the drawing class mediums such as charcoal, pen and ink, graphite pencil and colored pencils will be utilized.

In the Watercolor painting class, watercolor paints and brushes along with natural sponges will be used for adding that extra fun arts in fine arts.
