Bethesda Country Day School Students Donate Gifts to Children
Students at Bethesda Country Day School held a gift drive in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program

Students at Bethesda Country Day School recently donated more than 40 gifts to Toys for Tots, a gift drive run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Over the past month, students held a schoolwide donation drive to collect a variety of toys and other gifts to benefit local children in need during the holidays. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others and giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.
Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.
