"To stay alive and well, engage in the arts"

Amid these unprecedented times in our lives, we find ourselves reflecting so much upon our lives, how it was, how it is and what will become of our future due to the uncertainty we are undergoing because of the Coronaviurs situation and its huge impact on our everyday life.

I find myself as a human being and as an artist reflecting a lot on my life during these times. Thinking about how life was and the many things one completely overlooked such as: the ease of going out and engaging with people are good examples of how in such a short amount of time our lives have been totally transformed. It is very clear that COVID-19 has impacted all of our lives hugely and on a global level. In such a difficult time, I feel the best way to handle such uncertainty and to hold on to one's sanity is to engage in a creative activity. Thus, I feel now more that ever art should take center stage in one's life to help reach inner peace, relaxation and self fulfillment through art-making.

Since March with the beginning of the lock down, I've been offering online art classes that proved to be very beneficial and very amusing for both the students and myself. For the Summer and with the current new spike in Coronaviurs cases, I am conducting online art classes via Zoom to ensure safety and comfort for all involved in this artful creative process.

Thus, for July I am offering short mornings courses in Watercolor painting and in Drawing.

Classes start in mid July and continue till end of July. These classes are open to all levels of art students and for adults and teens. In every class, I show the students how to create a work of art through Live demos along presenting them with a presentation that engages them in art history and showcases the works of master artists that were excellent in these mediums.

Here are the 2 morning art classes I am offering for July:

Beginning & Intermediate Watercolor:
Mondays 10AM – 12PM

As for my latest exhibitions which are currently mainly online, I am in the latest "Yellow Barn Faculty Exhibition" which is via Glen Echo Galleries Partnership, Glen Echo, Maryland.

Also, I am in a number of group art exhibitions through BG Gallery / Gestalt Projects in Santa Monica, CA by which some of these exhibits are up on the famed online art auction platform "Artsy" that is known for its renowned art collection of both late and contemporary living established artists.
