Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) Mid-Atlantic region is coming together to hold its first-ever Virtual Mid-Atlantic Poker Tournament. The online poker tournament, hosted with virtual poker site Faded Spade, will take place on October 18, 22 and 26 with the final table on November 1.

More than 500 FIDF supporters from the Mid-Atlantic region participate in the Mid-Atlantic Poker Tournament every year to support well-being and educational programs for Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers. Prizes for top winners include entry into Maryland LIVE! High Level Poker Tournaments, various levels of membership to John Little's Poker Coaching Site, a 65" Television, an Apple watch and more.

The event’s proceeds will benefit FIDF’s Adopt-A-Unit Program which supports soldiers in the adopted units by providing financial assistance to soldiers in-need, caring for Lone Soldiers, and funding rest and recuperation weeks for combat soldiers.

Owner and President of Clear Path Advisory, Inc. and FIDF supporter Michael Steinhardt will chair the tournament. Steinhardt is from Baltimore and started this event program in 2015 to benefit FIDF Baltimore’s adopted IDF Home Front Command, the Kedem Battalion, a search-and-rescue unit that conducts emergency operations in Israel and abroad. Since, the tournament has grown to include FIDF supporters from DC and Virginia.

“The virtual poker tournament is a wonderful opportunity for FIDF supporters to come together and have fun while funding FIDF’s well-being and educational programs for IDF soldiers,” said Steinhardt.
