Flash Flood Watch Includes Montgomery County
The National Weather Service has issued a weather alert for Montgomery County and several others.

Weather officials say flash flooding is possible as heavy rain soaks the region Thursday afternoon, followed by repeated thunderstorms into the evening. Isolated tornadoes and damaging wind with large hail are also possible.
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for the following counties, effective from 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, to 6 a.m. on Friday, June 17:
- Allegany
- Anne Arundel
- Baltimore
- Carroll
- Frederick
- Howard
- Montgomery
- Prince George's
- Washington
Parts of Virginia and Washington, D.C., are included in the watch area as well.
