Flood Watch Issued For Montgomery County, Surrounding Areas
Another dose of heavy rain may lead to more flooding in Montgomery County Thursday and Friday, forecasters say.

BETHESDA, MD — Another round of heavy rain is expected to soak the region starting Thursday, prompting forecasters to issue a flood warning for Montgomery County and the surrounding areas.
The flood watch will be in effect from 7 p.m. Thursday to 6 p.m. Friday for Montgomery County, the National Weather Service said. Forecasters say that the region might get up to four inches of rain.
Because the soil is still saturated from last week's downpour, small streams, creeks, and urban areas might flood.
