Iraqi Teen Missing In Chevy Chase Found In Canada: Police

A teen visiting the area from Iraq was found safe in Canada after he was reported missing in Chevy Chase, police said.

CHEVY CHASE, MD — An Iraqi teen who went missing in Chevy Chase has been found safe in Canada, Montgomery County Police said.

Abdalla Ahmed, a 17-year-old boy visiting from Iraq with a group of students, was reported missing during their stay.

Ahmed was staying at the National 4-H Conference Center at 7100 Connecticut Ave. where he was last seen around 2:10 a.m. July 30.

Police announced Monday that Ahmed was found safe and unharmed in Canada on August 4.
