James A. Weixel, 87, of Bethesda, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 7.

He was the husband of 53 years of Eunice Weixel; father of James (Donna) Weixel, Alane (Bob) Musselman, Patrick (Judy) Weixel and Kathy Fitzgerald; grandfather of Jacqueline, Anthea, Mary Kate, Patrick, Matthew, Jimmy, Brendan, Annie, Kate, Megan, Jack and Kelly; brother of Kirk (Mary Jeanne) Weixel and the late Carol Milano.

Friends will be received at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 917 Montrose Road in Rockville, on Tuesday, July 14 from 9 to 10 a.m. when his Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.

Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
