Local Restaurants Coming To Bethesda Summer Concert Series

Attendees can purchase food, beer and wine from downtown Bethesda restaurants during the Bethesda Summer Concert Series.

BETHESDA, MD — Weekly outdoor concerts kick-off in downtown Bethesda on May 17 and attendees can also purchase food, beer and wine from downtown Bethesda restaurants during the concert. This series, produced by the Bethesda Urban Partnership, features free Thursday evening concerts during May, June, and July. The concerts offer a diverse range of music including rock, funk, jazz, swing, and reggae.

The concerts take place on Thursday evenings, from 6 – 8 p.m. in Veterans Park, located at the corner of Woodmont and Norfolk Avenues.

  • May 17: Oasis Island Sounds (Reggae). Food and Drink by Hanaro Sushi.
  • May 24: Moonshine Society (Blues). Food and Drink by Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery.
  • May 31: 8 Ohms Band (Funk). Food and Drink by Flanagan’s Harp & Fiddle.
  • June 7: Soul Crackers (Soul). Food and Drink by Smoke BBQ.
  • June 14: Hard Swimmin’ Fish (Blues/Jazz). Food and Drink by Momo Chicken & Grill.
  • June 21: Jay Byrd & The Musical Trust. Food and Drink by Hanaro Sushi.
  • July 5: Wes Tucker & The Skillets (Rock). Food and Drink by Momo Chicken & Grill.
  • July 12: Sahel (African). Food and Drink by Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery.
  • July 19: Sojourne (Soul). Food and Drink by Flanagan’s Harp & Fiddle.
