'Trust' the Injured Eagle Likely Hit By Car: Experts
An injured bald eagle recuperating at a Montgomery County raptor center was likely struck by a car while she was feeding on an animal carcass, experts say. The female eagle was named “Trust” by the Animal Services Division officer who rescued the bird.
Staffers at the Owl Moon Raptor Center said Trust was likely hit by a vehicle on River Road, probably while feeding on a nearby roadside deer carcass. The bird suffered some internal bleeding and a shoulder injury. >>> Read more.
