Make America Kind Again. That's the message B/CC resident Peter Greif, a retired NIH computer specialist, wants to spread.
At the January, 2017 Women's March, Greif saw a sign with the simple words Make America Kind Again. He decided to spread the hopeful sentiment by designing and free distributing buttons. Together with Jennifer Fuchel, a good friend and graphics design professor, Greif developed some favorite designs and started producing buttons. "Kindness is something we can all get behind, no matter our background, political party, location or job," Greif states. "We have been handing out free buttons to anyone who expresses an interest. It is a labor of love, both a rewarding and heartening experience, and many people ask me where I got my button."
If you want to help Make America Kind Again, one button at a time, go to makekind.org. It is easy to select the style of button you prefer, costing from $28-$30 for 100 buttons. Car magnets are also available. Or you can watch for Peter on the streets of Bethesda and ask for your own free button. He can also be contacted via the website.
