Maryland Eatery Listed Among '100 Best Restaurants in the South'

One Maryland restaurant made Southern Living’s list of the “100 Best Restaurants in the South.”
Located in Clipper Mill near Hampden, Woodberry Kitchen is known for its locally grown food and homage to Maryland dishes.
Southern Living called out the rockfish in its mention of Woodberry Kitchen in its “100 Best” list, specifically recommending the rockfish served with stewed wheat berries, wood-roasted sweet onions, sungold tomatoes, squash, eggplant and scallion oil.

Other popular items on the menu include deviled eggs, chicken and biscuits, the crab pot and sundae with toasted marshmallow and hot fudge.
Since opening in an old foundry building in Baltimore in 2007, Woodberry Kitchen has received heaps of praise, from Forbes to The New York Times. This year it made The Baltimore Sun’s best 50 restaurants in Baltimore, the Washingtonian’s list of the 100 very best restaurants, Wine Enthusiast’s 100 best wine restaurants of 2013, The Washington Post’s 40 favorites in D.C. and USA Today’s 10 best restaurants in Baltimore.
