More Snow Possible In Montgomery County

It's possible Montgomery County may get more snow on Saturday, but it's far from a sure thing.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — If you thought we'd transition straight to spring after Wednesday's snowfall, think again. We may get another dose of the white stuff on Saturday here in Montgomery County, although forecasts are a bit iffy.

Temperatures will remain in the 30s and 40s from now until the weekend, and forecasters are watching a band of snow that right now is focused on southern Virginia but could shift to the north very easily.

Right now, confidence in that happening is low, with the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang giving it a 2 out of 10 on their "snow potential index." However, "a shift in the storm track slightly north and we are back in the inches!"

After Saturday, we should start to see temperatures thawing, reaching into the mid to upper 40s by Sunday and up to the low 50s on Monday.

According to the Weather Channel, the area will get some spring-like temperatures after that, with next Wednesday and Thursday in the 60s.
