PGA Tour: U.S. Open Champion Justin Rose Withdraws From AT&T National Field

Days after news that world No. 1 Tiger Woods would not participate in the AT&T National, the Congressional Country Club tournament lost another star from its field: 2013 U.S. Open champion Justin Rose.

Rose announced his withdrawal Monday afternoon, citing a need for rest.

"I'm disappointed to withdraw from the AT&T National, but the last three weeks have been extremely demanding both mentally and physically," Rose said in a statement. "This tournament has been very good to me - especially in 2010 - and I would play if I felt I could. Tiger and his Foundation run a great tournament, and I wish I could be there."

Rose will be replaced by Brendon Todd.
