BETHESDA, MD — PLANTA, a plant-based restaurant chain with locations in Toronto and Miami, is coming to Bethesda Row this summer.

The restaurant will take over the space formerly occupied by Cafe Deluxe at 4910 Elm St. An official opening date has not yet been announced.

Helmed by Executive Chef David Lee, the Bethesda Row location will include favorites from PLANTA's eclectic menu, such as the Ahi Watermelon Nigiri, Cauliflower Tots, and Kelp Caesar. Locally inspired dishes and drinks will also be featured on the menu.

PLANTA will seat 140 people indoors, plus another 50 on its outdoor patio. There will also be a semi-private indoor dining room for up to 18 guests.
