Quick Stop Food Trucks Make Lunch Easy for Local Workers
"It's just 'get it and go,' " food truck owner Joe Maxx said of his stops. The truck might generate about $100 in revenue during a lunch rush, he said.

New to the Bethesda area for work, Kevin Augustine needed a quick find for his 30-minute lunch break.
Lucky for Augustine—a construction worker for Miller & Long at the 7171 Woodmont Ave. project—the Star Snacks food truck was making a brief stop as he ventured out for a bite.
Parked at the intersection of Woodmont and Bethesda avenues, Star Snacks was in its first stop of the day, driver Joe Maxx said.
The truck offers items ranging from hot sandwiches and chips to fruit and sweets. Soft drinks and water are available, too.
Augustine selected a cheeseburger and baked beans for lunch Monday.
"It's alright. It's good," Augustine said. "I just got transferred here today so I'm not too familiar with this area, where to go to eat. So it's just the convenience. These trucks do a lot of help."
The truck only spends about 10 minutes at each of the construction locations, Maxx said as he packed up to head into Washington, DC, for Star Snacks' next stop.
