Rain Or Shine? Here's The MD Memorial Day Weekend Forecast

MARYLAND — Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer in Maryland, and this year, many Maryland residents will mark the new season with a three-day weekend filled with memorial services, outdoor events, and backyard barbecues.

At this point, your weekend is likely planned to a T. But, as most of us know, Mother Nature could always step in and ruin that carefully outlined itinerary with a trifecta of rain, storms, and cloudy skies.

Unfortunately, it looks as if that might be the case for Memorial Day weekend in Maryland, according to the most recent forecast for our area.

As you head home from work Friday evening, expect showers and temperatures in the low 50s.

Saturday

• A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

• A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday

• A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 66. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday Night

• Partly cloudy, with a low around 51.

Memorial Day

• Mostly sunny, with a high near 75.

Monday Night

• Partly cloudy, with a low around 55.
