Rita Walsh Devine, 90, of Bethesda and St. Michaels, MD, died July 5.

She was the wife of the late James T. Devine; mother of Caroline M. Devine, James T. Devine Jr. (wife Kathryn), John J. Devine (wife Joanna), Rita W. Devine (husband John Hollingsworth), Patrick J. Devine (wife Patricia) and the late Joseph A. Devine, and grandmother of Annie Sickmen, Kathyrn Lourenco, Wolfgang Devine, Emma Devine, Declan Devine, Ambrose Devine, Carter Ward, Rebecca Ward, Patrick Devine II, James Devine, Sarah Devine and John Devine. She is also survived by her great-grandsons, Seamus Sickmen and Finnegan Sickmen.

Friends will be received at Pumphrey’s Colonial Funeral Home, 300 West Montgomery Ave. in Rockville, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 9200 Kentsdale Drive in Potomac, on Friday, July 17 at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Maryland Province Jesuits Fund, 8600 LaSalle Road, Baltimore, MD 21286-2014.
