Rotary Club of Metro Bethesda Donates Pet Supplies and Trees

The Rotary Club of Metro Bethesda has teamed up with two area organizations - D.C.'s Human Rescue Alliance and Bethesda Green - to improve our community. The club donated well over 100 towels and sheets, along with toys, bones and pet food to The Humane Rescue Alliance. The Alliance offers adoption services and veterinary care.

Another project undertaken during the pandemic was the planting of a tree in downtown Bethesda. The cost of the tree and planting was donated by the club, and a dogwood now occupies a spot in the traffic island at the corner of Woodmont Avenue and Old Georgetown Road. It is surrounded by lovely flowers.
