Snowfall Possible Over Weekend For Montgomery County: Forecasters

Weather models are predicting snow for Montgomery County starting Saturday afternoon.

BETHESDA, MD — After a period of unseasonably warm temperatures, it's time to, once again, break out the snow boots and puffy winter jackets.

Forecasters are keeping an eye on a storm that's headed our way this weekend. And while it's too early to predict how much snow we'll get, weather models say a light- to medium- impact snow event is likely for the D.C. region.

The Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang reports that "there is reasonably strong agreement" that the D.C. region will see at least some snow this weekend, and maybe more than a few inches.

Right now, you can expect the snow to start falling Saturday afternoon and into the day on Sunday in Montgomery County.
