Storm Takes Down Tree, Knocks Out Power In Montgomery Co: MCFRS
Tuesday's storm: Montgomery residents shouldn't pick up fallen tree branches due to an increased risk of electric shock, fire officials say.

BETHESDA, MD — Neighborhoods in Montgomery County are cleaning up debris after a severe thunderstorm rolled through the area Tuesday evening.
In Chevy Chase, dozens of homes are without power after a large tree fell onto a house, according to WJLA. Fortunately, the home was unoccupied, says Pete Piringer, spokesman for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service.

Pepco is actively working to restore power in the area.

Fire and rescue officials are advising residents not to move tree branches, as it could lead to an electric shock.
