"UkeFest is one of Strathmore's most distinctive programs, growing in popularity and scope for over a decade," according to the festival's promotional video. "Led by Grammy-wining artistic directors Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer, UkeFest draws world-class faculty, performers, and participants from all over the globe. This immersive experience brings together over 100 ukulele players annually for five days of instruction, collaboration, and music."
UkeFest will be much different in its 12th year. While musicians can't play together (at least in person), this year's event promises a jam-packed schedule of classes, jams, open mics, and more.
