“Through Art I find myself” -- Vian Borchert

Summer is a great time to reflect on your year thus far. It is also a great time to relax and enjoy the sun-drenched weather, go to the pool, take a swim, sunbath and sip on a cool drink.
Summer is a good time to rejuvenate and refresh yourself for the upcoming Fall season.
For this Summer how about doing something different - something that awakens the artist in you and reactivates the creativity that has been dormant since your childhood years.
Summer is a good time not only to exercise, swim and engage in physical activities for a fit body, but to engage in mental activities for a fit mind as well.

The mind as we know from science studies and research needs to be exercised. Cognitive exercises and projects keep it healthy and sharp especially for the golden days ahead.
Art will help you achieve that mental sharpness and exploration of one's creativity.

In Borchert’s watercolor painting class, Vian wants the students to have fun while using the ever versatile and fun watercolor medium which is water soluble. In “Beginning Drawing” Borchert introduces the students to mediums such as charcoal, colored pencils and pen and ink to create effective still life drawings.
